Jocelyn Yeo - Director & Principal Officer
Jocelyn is the Principal Officer of LIMSL. She oversees the organizations of LIMSL in Labuan and also sits on the Board of Directors. Jocelyn has over 20 years of experience in offshore insurance and financial services. She has managed Labuan insurance and insurance-related entities, accumulating a wealth of experience in every facet of their operations. Jocelyn understands the insurance sector and their business needs in relation to managing and monitoring such entities.
Jocelyn holds a Masters in Business Administration. She is also a very active social worker.
Wong Kim Teck - Director
Wong is a Principal Director of LIMSL. He has over 30 years of experience in the general insurance industry. In his past capacity as a CEO and Managing Director of insurance companies, Wong has led major transformation initiatives and turnaround programs in the companies he helmed. Wong also took an active role in the Malaysian general insurance industry by serving the General Insurance Association of Malaysia (PIAM) in 2009 as a Deputy Chairman and was elected as Chairman in 2012.
Wong is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and is also admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Nicholas Yeo - Actuarial Advisor
Nicholas acts as the actuarial advisor for LIMSL. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (US). Nicholas has a wide range of experience in actuarial work, and acts as Appointed Actuary to many companies in the region. Nicholas has experience working with multiple offshore jurisdictions and captive jurisdictions including Labuan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Ireland and the United States.
Nicholas is the founder of Nicholas Actuarial Solutions, a leading actuarial firm in Asia. Nicholas Actuarial Solutions is an affiliate company of LIMSL
Azman Ismail - Shariah Advisor
Azman acts as the Shariah Advisor for LIMSL. He has over 30 years of experience in Islamic finance and takaful. His expertise is recognised globally with experience providing for training and consultancy services in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Brunei, and Iran. He has presented papers at Kuala Lumpur, Manama, New York, Tokyo, Brunei, Singapore, Cairo, London, Milan, Taipei, Taroudant, and Abu Dhabi.
Azman lectures at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM). He has written 6 books and in a Shariah Advisor to several retakaful companies.
